Criw Cymraeg
Criw Cymraeg

The Criw Cymraeg is run by pupil representatives from Year 2 to Year 6.

The Criw Cymraeg have achieved their Bronze Cymraeg Campus award and are currently working on their silver award.

The Criw Cymraeg team meet weekly, lead weekly Welsh assemblies, support the running of Cafe Cymraeg and promote the Welsh language across the school.
Our phases of the fortnight this term are:
Faint ydy di oed di?
Beth yw enw d’ysgol di?
Pa liw ydy dy wallt di?
Pa liw ydy dy lygaid di?
Pwy sy’ yn y teulu?
Beth wyt ti’n wisgo?
Our sounds of the week for this term are:
D am dant
N am nos
T am tomato
G am gwely
I am iâr
P am pysgodyn
C am car
U am utgorn
B am banana
F am fan
L am lori
These are linked in our weekly assemblies to the Read Write Inc visuals and the sentences link to the song "Cân Rap Wyddor Cyw" (Cyw's Alphabet Rap) from S4C.

Eisteddfod 2025
Thank you for all your Eisteddfod entries. We had a varied selection of artwork showcasing a whole host of talents. Each class shared a Welsh song or poem and joined together to celebrate the Welsh work that had taken place in each class. Our Folk dancing club shared their latest folk dance - Bendigedig!
Llongyfarchiadau to our Year 6 Chair of the Bard - Caitlyn
We had the pleasure of Caitlyn sharing her poem with us.
