Croeso i Reception / Year 1

Welcome to Reception / Year 1's class page where you will find important information and updates from the class.

Our class is made up of 25 wonderful pupils, 13 Reception and 12 Year 1's. Miss Holmes teaches the class with Mrs Morris, Mrs Jones and Miss Warry supporting as well.

Autumn Term 2025

This term, our class will be exploring the wonderful topic of Inside Out!

We’ll be finding out all about ourselves—our bodies, feelings, and what makes us unique. From learning how to keep our bodies healthy to exploring emotions and friendships, we’ll use stories, art, and hands-on activities to help us understand more about who we are, both inside and out.

Get ready for a journey of discovery, creativity, and fun as we learn more about ourselves and each other!

The children have access to a variety of different apps from home to support their learning. These include Spelling Shed, Mathletics, Times Table Rockstars and Oxford Owl. Please click the links below to access the websites. If you need your child's login details please contact Miss Holmes. 

We are encouraged to use our welsh language skills throughout the school day. 

Cyw is a great website to play welsh games and practise your welsh skills.
